Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
Big Boi has no shortage of friends, so it's only right that on his new solo album, Sir Lucious Left Foot: The Son of Chico Dusty, the Big Boi is joined by a slew of guests. On the production side, Scott Storch (who helmed "Shutterbug"), Salaam Remi (Nas, Fugees), Organize Noise, the rapper's own Boom Boom Room producers and Boi-1da (perhaps best known for his work on Drake's "Best I Ever Had") contribute to the set.

Album Description
2010 solo release from one-half of Outkast. Following the success of Speakerboxxx, which went on to win two Grammy's and sell 11 million copies as a double album alongside his OutKast partner-in-rhyme Andre 3000's The Love Below. Big Boi now returns with his long awaited solo album Sir Lucious Left Foot: The Son Of Chico Dusty. The first single taken off his album is the infectious 'Shutterbug', produced by Scott Storch.

I have solid album from Big Boi. I heard a few songs that were leaked a couple months ago so I have been in anticipaion for this album release and Big Boi didn't let me down. Pick up a copy or two of this album and you will not be disappointed.

5 out of 5 stars Big Boi is the best rapper alive   August 22, 2010

This is by far the best album of the year. If you liked anything outkast has done, and even if you don't, check this out.

The very best tracks include:

Daddy Fat Sax
Shutterbug
General Patton
Tangerine
You Ain't No DJ
Fo Yo Sorrows
Night Night
Shine Blockas
Train PT 2

Basically the whole album bangs. As a huge outkast fan I'm partially biased, but many of my friends who don't like outkast dig this album. Big Boi's flows are immaculate, lyrics unpredictable, and the beats are all innovative (just listen to the andre 3000 produced "You Ain't No DJ".

5 out of 5 stars Rap is still Alive   August 21, 2010

Let me start off by saying that Big Boi is keepin rap on life support with this album! I could have sworn hip hop was already a dead corpse that had been pissed on by the radio and lil wayne and those other queers named "lil" something.

Pretty much every track bangs with live instrumentation (instead of only depending on electronics), deep bass lines, and vocals that put 99.9 percent of other rappers to shame. It sucks 3 stacks isn't on this album due to contract conflicts, but Big Boi holds it down! Stylistically, I actually prefer him over Andre by a tad bit simply because he follows the beat better with his flow..although he may be tiny tiny bit less creative lyrically than 3000. He's still one of the best and his rhythm his top notch. He can pretty much adapt to any beat....a feat beyond impressive to me.

I honestly can't pick a favorite song...they all go great with different moods. Here is my explanation of what to expect:

Shutterbug, Tangerine, Ain't no DJ----Club bangers!

The Train, Fo Yo Sorrows, Turns Me On, Hustle Blood---Chill songs to cruise or blaze one too!

General Patton----Simply Epic! (please no one attempt to flow to that beat....Only big boi can kill it)

Everything else is pretty much classic Outkast...always innovative, revolutionary and unique

Oh YEA! The intro immediately puts you in the zone...just sick!
